Being Healthy

Lately I've noticed that I've been feeling very sluggish and just not myself and I was trying to figure out all the things it could be when I realized that over the past month or two I've stopped exercising regularly and have developed a terrible diet. I immediately started making excuses trying to justify it by saying that it's okay because I'm just busy and school is really hard, but when I ran out of excuses I decided that in all honesty I was just being lazy. Now, I hear a lot of people talk about how they work out and eat healthy so that they can be skinny, which is fine, I don't really mind that, but for myself I've decided that I am going to start eating right and exercising so that I can be healthy.
I know that the family has done things like the Biggest Loser competitions before and had a lot of fun with it, so if you want to do it with me you're welcome to. Since, I'm a minimum wage, poor college student I unfortunately can't offer any prizes for winners, but I know that there is strength in numbers and I find it easier to do something when I have others doing it with me. So, starting today I'm getting healthy not so I can be a Victoria's Secret model, but so I can have a more positive self-image, and live a longer life feeling good about myself and knowing that I work hard. I've started a new blog at tennysonshealthyliving.blogspot.com and will be posting updates on my progress and you can also send me updates on your own progress that I can post whether it be pictures, or just new goals that you have set for yourself. Anyway, I hope you're all happy, hopeful and looking forward to getting healthy with me.
